About 36.2 percent of the 1,162 degrees and certificates handed out by the Northland Community and Technical College in 2016-17 were to students in Health Professions and Related Programs programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the public institution in Falls conferred 262 associate's degrees and 159 certificates in Health Professions and Related Programs programs.

But the single most popular program was for a certificate in Farm/Farm and Ranch Management. Data shows the school gave out 207 certificates in Farm/Farm and Ranch Management, followed by 162 associate's degrees in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies and 86 associate's degrees in Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse Training.

The college enrolled 3,599 students for 2016-17, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
