BURNSVILLE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE: Human Trafficking – Minnesota Lawmakers work to stop it on Aug 7
Burnsville Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on July 30.
Human trafficking is a critical issue facing businesses and our communities today. The Chamber is pleased to announce a special opportunity on Human Trafficking Speakers, Amy Klobuchar and Erik PaulsonAugust 7 to hear from two Minnesota lawmakers – representing different bodies of Congress and different sides of the aisle – who are each working to address this difficult issue. Kicking off the breakfast will be Senator Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.), followed later in the morning by Representative Erik Paulsen (R-Minn.). Each official will outline their legislation that will help save thousands of Minnesotans from falling victim to human trafficking.
