Vermilion Community College enrolls 724 undergrads


At Vermilion Community College, 94 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 64 percent are male, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The two-year public institution in Ely enrolled 724 students in fall 2017, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. 8.4 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

70 percent of undergraduates are residents of Minnesota, and 30 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (80 percent) and Black or African American (10 percent).
